Session 3 - Travel Interlude
In which the party splits up, gains a thief and travels to Siadanos
Today will be a short post as not much occured in the 3rd session, but first an intermission.
Last session we left the characters heading back to Turos Tem to rest before heading to Turos Tem to sell their treasure. Ultimately the two crusaders left to seek their fortune elsewhere, and the Paladin split up to meet back up with the party in Siadanos.
As the party met up with the Legate in his court they were joined by an Elven Spellsword, Dreamweaver, and Artist by the name of D'inchinn of Argolle. Though the Elf is seemingly competent, the capriciousness of Elves is never to be forgot.
And so the remaining party set forth to Siadanos and due to Judge calculation issues the trip which should’ve been much shorter ended up taking 4 days, however, I digress. Shortly after setting out to Siadanos the party saw a shifty looking fellow cooking a fat rabbit over a fire. As the party sought more members to their company, the man was asked if he would like to travel with them to Siadanos, and perhaps get paid to assist in their travels. This Individual my astute readers was undoubtedly seen by all of you as a Thief and a Thief he indeed is. For as the party set off to Siadanos they learned that the man’s name was Signus Hilerno of Samos, Thief and footpad.
Shortly into the first day of travel the party came across by pure benediction of the Gods, a cache of treasure situated in a cleft in a hillock. 5,000 Silver Pieces and two Religous amulets worth 250 GP each. They traveled further along the road, through the springtime weather of the Borderland until they found that the road got quite rough due to it’s disrepair which added an extra day of travel, although the day prior they came across a a set of tracks in the dirt that the Explorer Corvus knew to be the tracks of a giant serpent. However, I again digress.
Ultimately the party finally arrived in Siadonas in the early morning of the fifth day. As they entered the Guards at the gate seeing the state of the party and their covered up pile of something (the 5,000 SP) charged them 25 GP for entrance. That ladies and gents is where the session ended. Come back next time and read the trials and tribulations of my group in the Auran Empire Campaign.
